The “single-sign-on” project is underway. Its aim is to synchronize Cascade Web passwords and the passwords of network login, Webmail, and other network-based applications.
For information on the upcoming Password Synchronization between Network Passwords and Cascade Web Passwords, please see details at www.ups.edu/PSSync.xml.
See the status of this project, please see the Technology Services Service Announcements page.
Will This Affect Instructional Technology Applications?
- Blackboard — This password synchronization will have no effect whatever on Blackboard passwords, which are separate and distinct from all other network and application passwords.
- Moodle — Your password for Moodle is the same as your network/webmail password. If you have issues logging into Moodle, then you have an issue with your network/webmail password. Call the HelpDesk at x8585 or email helpdesk@ups.edu and they will take care of it for you.
