New this year are documented instructions on the process for submitting grades in Cascade.
If you are a new or adjunct faculty, these PDF files show you step by step how to enter and submit mid-term and final grades using Cascade. If you have technical issues using it, please call the HelpDesk at x8585.
For more on University grade information and policies, see the online Acadmic Handbook section on grading.

Our latest Showcase interview with faculty on how they use technology in teaching is here.
Each semester, Lynette Claire, Assistant Professor in the School of Business and Leadership, sponsors the Entrepreneurial Film Festival. She has her business students make short documentaries about a local business owner and share it with other students and community members at the end of the semester in Rausch Auditorium.
Here are the extended hours for the Library Tech Center area, Media Lab and Media Checkout desk hours during Reading and Final Exam Period.
There will be someone to assist you for audio and video needs in the Media Lab, and the Media Desk will be open for equipment check in and out during these hours.

It’s that time of the term for giving class presentations once again. Even when you have done a good project, how do you make an equally good presentation?
The main reason most PowerPoint presentations don’t stand out is lack of preparation. You already know the answer to that problem: know the content on your slides well and rehearse the presentation so your audience knows you know it.
But even when you are prepared, you can still make a bad presentation by failing to follow some simple guidelines for good presenting technique.
It contains pointers for good techniques to use, and common mistakes to avoid. There are video and slide tutorials, online examples of the “New Style” of PowerPoint, and numerous links to resources on using PowerPoint to communicate well.
Why, you’ll even find links to Talking Head David Byrne’s “I ♥ PowerPoint” lectures.
