A boombox can play CDs, cassette tapes, or the radio.
Currently, we have seven boomboxes in our inventory.

All cassette players come with both an AC adaptor and headphones. The headphones are “light-weight”; if they are not what you need, you might want to check out a pair of our other headphones separately. Currently we have 3 cassette players in our inventory.

We have two kinds of cassette tape recorders available for circulation at this time.
A recording kit is a cassette recorder that comes in a black case and includes an AC adapter, flat microphone and the cassette player/recorder. Blank cassette tapes must be purchased by the patron checking out a recording kit. Tapes are not available at the Media Checkout Desk. Currently we have 8 recording kits in our inventory.

A tabletop cassette recorder is a large all-in-one cassette recorder. Currently we have 7 recording kits in our inventory.
