Last August, Bryan Alexander from NITLE gave a workshop here at UPS on Web 2.0 Storytelling Tools. The workshop was well attended by faculty (see this page for resources gathered during the workshop).
In the most recent issue of Educause Review magazine, Bryan and Alan Levine (of the New Media Consortium, and whose 50 Story Tools is a major catalog of such tools), have written a useful overview article, Web 2.0 Storytelling: Emergence of a New Genre covering many aspects of teaching and learning with these new tools.
