Q. Who do I contact if I need to reserve a room on campus?

• The Media Desk does not reserve rooms for patrons, we only book media equipment. Click here for information about who to contact if you need to book a room.

Q. What kinds of equipment can I check out from the Desk?

Equipment for Video and Film Making Projects

Q. What kind of video cameras does the Media Desk have?

• Canon: GL1, GL2, Elura 90. They all record onto Mini DV tapes which can be purchased in the campus bookstore or at any convenience store.

Q. How long can I check-out a video camera?

• Just one day, but you can renew the camera if it is not on hold for another person by e-mailing, calling, or visiting the Media Desk in advance.

Q. Do I need a DVD-R or a DVD+R to burn my DVDs?

• Either one will work. You can purchase DVD’s at the campus bookstore — the Media Desk does not have any available.
